Join Livi of Knot My Name as she introduces you to the basics of macramé and teaches you the core macramé knots. Once you’ve mastered this initial technique you will be able to create a large variety of wall art designs which make ideal gifts for your friends or your home!

Note - Livi has updated the design slightly to make it a tad easier for beginners but also means attendees who have taken a class previously can make the updated design or create one that they have previously known.

Macramé, which was extremely popular in the 70s, is now back as global homeware trend. A glance around various shops, yoga studios and houses on the island will confirm that Cayman is catching on to this trend.

At Knot My Name, we love the versatility that macramé brings which enables artists to create a wide range of products including wall art designs (see our Cayman maps in 3 Girls and a Kiln for inspiration!), beach bags, coasters and jewellery.
