You asked for a painting session - and we’ve got a great one coming up for you crazy creatives! Introducing A Designer Gouache Class with the fantastic Dinah Green! A session that runs over 3 weeks and perfect for all you painting perfectionistas.
She will be teaching an ‘Introduction to Winsor & Newton Designer Gouache Paint’ including the following topics: Understanding Colour Theory & the Colour Wheel, How to mix the paint, creating colour swatches and the use of paint match cards. Attendees at the end of the 3 week class will be able to:
Drawing and painting out a design. Use of tracing paper and a light table. Putting a simple design into a repeat pattern, by hand.
How to create individual colourways of the chosen design. Choosing one and painting out the final design. Potential end uses of designs created this way.
This class includes all materials and instructions.
